Set in 50 acres of award winning gardens of flowering shrubs and shady woodland walks, standing at the head of Cashel Bay is a gracious, mid 19th century country house, owned and run by Dermot & Kay McEvilly.

The gardens, withdrawn and quietly secluded, are a delight with an enchanting cultivation of exotic shrubs - many imported from Tibet and including rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias and magnolias. Guests may wander through the gardens or stroll along the seashore, through woods and streams and onto the summit of Cashel Hill.
The fishing in this area of the country is supreme – the fisherman has a choice between Connemara's famous lakes and rivers or deep sea fishing off Roundstone, Clifden or Cleggan.
The cuisine at Cashel House is truly like 'manna from heaven'. The lakes, streams, mountains and seas of Connemara combine to provide the choicest food.
